Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun posted in social media that he himself participated in the testing of Xiaomi SU7 more than 10 times, with a mileage of more than 3,000 kilometers.
Lei Jun revealed that Xiaomi SU7 has accumulated more than 5.4 million kilometers of road testing across China, of which Xiaomi executives tested 100,000 kilometers, while he himself participated in the test more than 10 times, mileage of more than 3,000 kilometers. The longest time, January 5 this year, from Beijing to Shanghai, the whole 1276 kilometers, just one person drive, with the whole highway NOA, plus charging and rest, the total time of more than 15 hours, “This test challenge is super intensive … and the various experiences are quite good.”
Lei also mentioned, the Xiaomi SU7 test drive project involved 576 test-drive cars, which is a large-scale testing in 300 cities in China, from -40℃ ultra-low temperature, to 60℃ high temperature, across the 100 degree temperature difference, and also it has been driven to mountains over 4,000 meters for plateau testing.
Xiaomi SU7 will be officially released on March 28th.
